ROUTINE SERVICING (AS 1851 – 2012)
Routine Servicing is performed by our Service Technicians on a regular basis dependent on the type of fire equipment being serviced. Fire Service Plus follows the Australian maintenance standard of AS 1851 – 2012, which outlines the frequency of servicing required to be performed. (Table excerpt below)

ANNUAL FIRE SAFETY ASSESSMENT (FOR CERTIFICATION)
An Annual Fire Safety Assessment is performed by our Accredited Practitioners on an annual basis prior to certification being issued. This assessment requires the sites Fire Safety Schedule & any other relevant documentation to be provided to Fire Service Plus prior to attending site to ascertain the measures & standards to inspect the equipment to.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER TRAINING
Fire Service Plus offers standalone fire extinguisher training to enable confident & safe operation of fire extinguishers in a workplace fire. This includes but not limited too:
– How to respond in an emergency
– What are the different types of fire
– The selection of the correct extinguisher for the type of fire
– Correct & safe techniques for the use & operation of the different types of fire extinguisher
– Technical aspects of the fire itself
– Practical exercises in the use of extinguishers
FIRE WARDEN TRAINING
Fire Service Plus offers Fire Warden Training at your premises, Fire Extinguisher Training is required to be completed prior to the Fire Warden Training is carried out. Fire Warden Training includes but is not limited too:
– How to deal with issues in an emergency situation
– How to set up your Emergency Control Organisation within your business
– Working through your Emergency Procedures & Evacuation Plans currently on site to ensure compliance
