Teagan became the new Company Director in October 2021, prior to this Teagan had been working within the Business since 2009, with 12 years experience from reception to office manager to general manager, learning all facets of the business inside & out. Completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Wollongong in 2012, which inevitable led to taking over the family business to give Steve & Dee an early retirement.
RICHARD BARWICK – BUSINESS MANAGER
Electrician
Richard joined the Fire Service Plus team in February 2021, he brings a vast array of experience from his previous electrical positions. Richards calm personality is a great compliment to the busy Fire Service Plus team & he has become a fantastic mentor to the electrical team.
LACHLAN CAUNT – SERVICE MANAGER
Lachlan is a qualified Motorcycle Mechanic, completing his apprenticeship in 2017 & working in he mechanical field for a handful of years before joining the family business in 2019. Starting in the field as a service technician, Lachlan has progressed to managing the service team. Lachlan still jumps in & gets his hands dirty whenever needed without any complaint. He is a great team player & is now a Fire Safety Assessor always progressing his knowledge to support his fellow coworkers.
STEVE & DEE – DIRECTORS
Steve & Dee started Fire Service Plus in 1994, from a one man band to a successful local business. Steve & Dee have supported local businesses & charities over the years, from Convoy for Kids to Ronald McDonald House. Steve & Dee have prided themselves on presentation, speedy customer service & a quality product, from colourful vehicle signage, bright uniforms, glossy brochures. The Company slogan “Equipment you Can Count on, People you can trust” was born.
Taking a step back from the day to day running of the business & moving towards retirement, Steve & Dee spend there days travelling, with the grandkids (& kids of course, no favourites here) & all there alpacas/farm duties.
